Reverb Studios Design is a registered business which offers Design & related IT services to small and medium enterprises in Ireland and abroad. Reverb Studios is not required to have a Data Protection Officer.

What data does Reverb Studios collect?

Reverb Studios acts as the Data Collector and Data Processor (along with other sub-contracted companies) for client data and collects the following categories of business information only. As opposed to “individual” personal data:

  • Business Contact Name
  • Business Email
  • Business Phone Number
  • Business Location
  • Business Web Address
  • Business Details/* Website Content
  • Payment Details (Stripe & PayPal) **

 

Why do we collect your data?

Reverb Studios collects your data in order to send you cost estimates, fulfil our contracted design services, invoice you and take payment for them when complete but also to communicate with you regarding company updates & support and ongoing invoicing for renewable services such as Domain renewal, Hosting renewal and Website Maintenance.

*  Website Content is automatically deemed publicly view-able and accessible data unless protected by login.

How does Reverb Studios collect your data?

Reverb Studios collects your data by the following means:

  • Via Online Forms

Where is your data stored? 

Your data is stored online by Reverb Studios subcontracted Data Processors including:

  • Always Amber – Reverb Studios Domain Registrar & Website Hosting partners. Servers based in the UK.
  • Zoho Invoice – Reverb Studios Invoicing Software partners. Servers based in the USA.
  • Stripe – Reverb Studios Credit Card Processor. Servers based in the USA.
  • PayPal – Reverb Studios Credit Card Processor. Servers based in the USA.
  • DropBox – Reverb Studios Data Backup Software Solution. Servers based in the USA.
  • MailChimp – Reverb Studios Newsletter partner. Servers based in the USA.

 

Access to the data held by all the above subcontracted Data Processing companies is via computer hardware and mobile devices owned by Reverb Studios. All such equipment is secured by password and/or bio-metric details.

How is your data stored?

Your data is stored securely (password, firewall and encryption protected) in the cloud/online by Reverb Studios subcontracted Data Processors. Transfer of data from you to Reverb Studios or our subcontracted Data Processing partners is encrypted by SSL. Your data is regularly and routinely backed up by our subcontracted Data Processors. No hard-copy data records are held anywhere by Reverb Studios.

Sharing your data

Other than Reverb Studios subcontracted Data Processors, your data is not shared with any other third parties for any other reasons than those given above.

How long does Reverb Studios keep your data?

Reverb Studios retains your data for as long as it is required to provide services to you and invoice you for same. Upon the termination of contracts or cessation of services from Reverb Studios, your data is securely deleted from everywhere it exists.

Your Data Rights

You have the right at any stage to:

  • Request a copy of data held in your name
  • Request deletion of data held in your name
  • Request changes or updates to data held in your name

 

Your Business/Invoicing details can be accessed or changed at any stage by logging in with the details provided to you by Zoho Invoice/Reverb Studios at the following URL:

Your Name and Email details for the purposes of marketing and updates via the Reverb Studios Newsletter system can be accessed, changed and unsubscribed from at the respective URLs included at the bottom of each Newsletter received.

Data Breaches

Should a high risk data breach occur with any of Reverb Studios subcontracted Data Processors or at any point in the link between any Reverb Studios IT equipment and our Data Processor’s servers, our process is as follows:

  • Inform the client whose data is breached
  • Explain the possible consequences of the data breach to the client
  • Inform our subcontracted Data Processors if necessary
  • Report the breach to the Data Regulator
  • Take steps to mitigate the breach and convey these to the client
  • Take steps to prevent similar breaches.
